The attorney will also be asked to provide support in various corporate, labor, and bank regulatory matters. Responsibilities of the Assistant General Counsel will include, but not be limited to: - Draft and review loan documents and related agreements - Draft and review vendor and service-provider contracts - Provide legal support to various business units including Risk, Deposit Operations and General Services Groups - Support internal clients in their dealings with their business clients - Review marketing materials and Requests for Proposal and support the business’ marketing efforts
Qualifications • JD from an accredited law school, license to practice in California; • Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, including experience in-house or in a major law firm; • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships required
• A broad range of legal experience and skills and a high degree of commercial acumen commensurate with the need to provide general legal advice and counsel to product teams and management of a substantial and growing international business
